Job summary

Sunglass Hut in Estero, FL, is hiring a licensed Optician to deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience on the sales floor, fill ophthalmic prescriptions and fit lenses and frames while supporting store operations to meet sales goals.

You'll lead with outstanding service, maintain product knowledge, and ensure accurate measurements, eyewear fitting, and smooth POS transactions, using tablets and store tech.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optician in Florida (state licensure) required.
• Optical dispensing experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with POS and store tech.
• Ability to take measurements and fit eyewear accurately.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and set expectations.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear.
• Lead on optical acumen and customer care.
• Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain store appearance and organize inventory.
• Support opening/closing procedures and policies.
