Qualifications

• Must be licensed to work as an optician in the State.
• Knowledge of optical products and business practices preferred.
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or retail/optical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify Rx data against doctor prescriptions and enter accurately.
• Explain procedures included under the exam fee to customers.
• Take measurements and help select frames based on Rx power and facial fit.
• Deliver sales and meet metrics by educating patients on available products.
• Assist with eyeglass adjustments and repairs and support opening/closing procedures.
