Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club seeks a licensed optician to dispense spectacles and lenses in our McDonough area. You will work with prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists, advising on frame weight, style, and lens options.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to work as an optician within the State and keep license up to date.
• Knowledge of optical products and business practices preferred.
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or optical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify order data entry and ensure Rx matches doctor’s prescription.
• Provide member sales and explain exam procedures clearly.
• Take measurements and assist with frame selection and lens power.
• Educate patients on product benefits to meet sales goals.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and assist with eyeglass repairs.
