Job summary

Walmart in Brunswick, GA is seeking an Optical Customer Service Associate to assist members with eyewear selection, measure PD, process orders, and handle transactions. You will maintain clean displays, stock, and ensure accurate prescription information while delivering friendly, compliant service.

You will educate customers on lens types, coatings, hearing aid components where applicable, and coordinate with labs and optometrists for status updates and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; state licensure/registration where required.
• Maintain Optician in Charge status as required by state regulations.
• Experience with insurance processing and electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by assisting with eyewear purchases, measuring pupillary distance, and processing orders.
• Educate members on eyewear usage, lens options, and frame fittings; perform repairs as needed.
• Operate POS, handle payments/refunds, and coordinate with labs/optometrists for status updates.
