Job summary

Warby Parker in New York is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team. You will help customers meet eyewear needs, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure frames meet our standards with accuracy.

You will explain prescription terminology, assist with frame and lens selection, and collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service, while upholding Warby Parker’s values and mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician required in applicable states.
• ABO certification preferred for non-licensing states.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings clearly.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service.
• Assist customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle.
