Job summary

Oakley in the United States is seeking a qualified Optician to educate customers and elevate performance of our optical products. You will provide exceptional service, apply lens/frame knowledge, and support Rx expansion with the store team.

The role requires an active Optician license, strong communication, and 1+ year of retail experience. On-site work with flexibility for opening/closing and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Current State Optician License required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience with urgent service to meet needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and explain features/benefits of lenses and frames.
• Lead optical operations and collaborate with Store Management on Rx growth.
• Foster learning so teammates become optical product experts.
• Engage local community to attract new customers.
• Resolve issues quickly and partner with management as needed.
• Support daily retail functions and maintain store standards.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with fixtures and floor changes.
• Promote inclusive culture and respectful service.
