Oakley in Miami is seeking a licensed Optician to educate customers and elevate performance of our eyewear products. You will drive exceptional service, apply optical knowledge, and lead by example within the retail team to grow the business.

The role requires a current state optician license, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. You will be on your feet most of the day, handling lenses, frames, and Rx orders, while contributing to inclusive, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Current State Optician License is required.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• 1+ years of retail sales experience.
• Flexibility to work a schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to be on your feet most of the day and to move on the sales floor.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates an exceptional customer experience and provides urgent service to customers.
• Demonstrates superior product knowledge and describes features/benefits of lenses and frames using appropriate tools.
• Leads optical operations and partners with Store Management to identify Rx expansion opportunities.
• Fosters an environment of learning so team members become experts in Oakley optical products and services.
• Engages with the local community to attract new customers.
• Anticipates problems and develops long-term solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Performs work accurately with technology under time pressure and assists with troubleshooting.
• Supports daily Retail Operations and follows policies & procedures with the management team.
• Maintains store appearance and visual standards, assisting with floor and fixture changes.
• Other duties as needed to support store operations.
• Promotes an inclusive culture and treats customers and colleagues with respect.
