EssilorLuxottica Tampa practice seeks an eyewear sales and fitting specialist to deliver an exceptional patient experience. You will measure, order, and fit eyewear, ensuring accuracy and patient satisfaction while maintaining professional standards in a busy optometry environment.

Responsibilities include custom fitting, measuring, inventory handling, and promoting a positive patient journey. Weekend/evening shifts may be required; licensing must be kept current.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills – ability to use and carry a tablet.
• Embraces new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses.
• Acts as a leader in optical acumen that provides a voice for peers.
• Takes and records measurements; ensures finished eyewear meets standards and patient requirements.
• Explores patient needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Assists peers with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Utilizes practice tools and adheres to policies.
