Job summary

LensCrafters in Florence, SC seeks a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and craft high-quality eyewear. You will measure, fit, and dispense lenses, while maintaining product knowledge and a strong customer-focused approach.

This role requires a state license, a high school diploma, and prior optical dispensing experience. You will work with POS systems and tablets to support sales and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State Licensure for optician.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS and calculators; comfortable with tablets.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and accurately place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and assist customers with complex needs.
• Record measurements and ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safety practices.
