Job summary

Warby Parker in Massachusetts is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team. You’ll take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with precision, and ensure finished eyewear meets our optical standards and customer requests.

You’ll explain prescription terminology and help customers choose frames and lenses that fit their prescription, face, style, and lifestyle, while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Develop best practices for sales and customer service with the team.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and communicate our mission and values.
