LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver brand value and exceptional service in a busy retail setting. You will custom-fit glasses, place prescriptions, and help clients select high-quality eyewear that meets their needs.

You will lead with optical knowledge, take precise measurements, and ensure finished eyewear aligns with safety and quality standards while staying current with fashion trends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure as an Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of store merchandise and basic math.
• Awareness of fashion trends and the ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS systems and calculators.
• Willingness to embrace new technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead in optical acumen within the team.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with attention to detail.
• Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain safety, store appearance, and inventory discipline.
• Utilize technology efficiently under time pressure.
• Contribute to brand KPIs and customer satisfaction.
