America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Optician to provide outstanding patient care and drive store performance. You will assist with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, train customers in lens insertion, and maintain accurate records while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license required by state.
• 3+ years related experience or training.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with the ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including contact lens insertion and removal training.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes and following safety standards.
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards and a clean environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.
