Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician to dispense eyewear and train apprentices while delivering exceptional customer service. You will maintain patient records, manage orders, and ensure quality standards within a busy store environment.

The role requires an active dispensing license, strong communication, and the ability to meet sales goals with professionalism and teamwork. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training (required).
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.
• Professional, friendly, and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including insertion/removal training.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications.
• Support quality and safety standards and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising standards, and a clean workspace.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
