America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to drive sales, manage the eyeglass department, and lead a team of opticians and sales associates. This role focuses on customer service, merchandising, and achieving company standards across daily operations.

You will forecast staffing, recruit and retain a high-caliber team, mentor Apprentice Opticians as allowed, and ensure compliance with licensing and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Leader with ability to coach and develop staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing financial reports and KPIs.
• ABO/NCLE certification and optical license required.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit, sales and performance goals per National Vision standards.
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure outstanding customer service across the team.
• Maintain quality standards and merchandising execution.
• Lead staffing forecasts, recruitment and retention efforts.
• Coach associates toward sales and service goals.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.
