Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and maximize quality of life in post-acute, SNF, and rehab settings.

You will evaluate ADLs, develop treatment plans, recommend adaptive equipment, collaborate with care teams, and educate patients and caregivers. Competitive pay up to $130,000/year with benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
