Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
NBCOT certification preferred.
Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
