Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required or related field
• Must hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator license for Indiana
• Minimum two years of management or equivalent experience in a long-term care setting

Responsibilities

• Directs overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs and regulations
• Attends mandatory in-services and ensures compliance with the Corporate Compliance Program
• Plans and monitors departments, sets priorities, evaluates performance, and coaches staff
• Conducts rounds to ensure resident care, facility appearance, and staff morale
• Ensures staffing, recruitment, and training; manages budgets and payables/receivables
• Develops and implements a marketing strategy to maximize census and revenue
• Maintains relationships with regulators, families, and the local healthcare community
• Demonstrates on-call availability 24/7 and ensures adherence to state rules and regulations
