Job summary

Waters of Hartford City seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead the facility’s operations, ensuring quality resident care and regulatory compliance. The role requires an Indiana LNHA license, a related bachelor’s degree, and 2+ years of long-term care management experience.

The administrator will oversee budgeting, staffing, and marketing while fostering positive relationships with regulators and the community.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Indiana is required.
Active Indiana State Nursing Home Administrator’s license.
Minimum two years of management or comparable experience in long-term care.
Strong knowledge of state, federal and local long-term care regulations.
Successful completion of facility orientation and mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Directs overall operation of the facility to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
Lead and direct facility operations, planning priorities and staffing.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, QA standards, and code of conduct.
Maintain facility rounds, monitor departments, and ensure cleanliness and morale.
Manage budgets, labor costs, payables/receivables and marketing strategy.
Develop relationships with regulators, families, and community partners.
Be on-call 24/7 and supervise staff education and meetings.
