Accolade Healthcare is seeking a motivated and emerging healthcare leader to join our Administrator-In-Training (AIT) program.
This is more than an entry-level management position. Our AIT program is designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, progressive leadership responsibility, and exposure to the many operational, clinical, regulatory, financial, and workforce challenges involved in leading a skilled nursing facility.
Over an anticipated 6-12 month development period, the AIT will work closely with experienced facility leaders while gaining exposure to the full scope of long-term care operations. This includes opportunities to experience:
The AIT will also have opportunities for cross-facility training and mentorship, working with different Administrators and leadership teams. This experience is intended to broaden the AIT's perspective, strengthen adaptability, and provide exposure to different leadership styles and operational environments.
We believe that becoming a successful Administrator requires more than learning policies and procedures—it requires experiencing the realities of healthcare leadership over time. Our goal is to provide the AIT with the opportunity to learn from successes, challenges, changing staffing needs, financial pressures, regulatory experiences, and the everyday decisions that shape a successful facility.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
Because development occurs through both facility-based and cross-facility experiences, the AIT must be willing and able to travel to other Accolade Healthcare facilities for training, mentorship, leadership development and program assignments. The AIT must be comfortable learning under different Administrators and adapting to different leadership styles and operational environments.
Pay: $50,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; exempt
Location: On-site; not remote
Additional Requirements: Flexible schedule based on facility needs and participation in the Manager on Duty weekend program
If you are looking for an opportunity to learn, lead, grow and build a career in healthcare administration, we invite you to apply for the Accolade Healthcare Administrator-In-Training program.
