Midtown Oaks Health & Rehab Center in Altoona, PA invites you to join our Administrator in Training program. You will gain hands-on leadership experience under a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, rotating through departments to learn operations and regulatory requirements.

We offer an Administrator Bootcamp, mentorship, generous PTO/benefits, tuition assistance, and a stable leadership team. This full-time role starts at $20.00 per hour and supports your career path toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be located within 40 miles of the facility.
• Bachelor's Degree required or currently in a Bachelor's program for Nursing Home Administration.

Position Summary:

The Administrator in Training program includesHands on training and Development by a seasoned Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, rotation through the various departments and duties in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility; education on the interrelationships of the facility with outside parties and government agencies; and a study of regulations and requirements associated with the operation of a skilled nursing facility. Other topics of education for those in the AIT position include basic leadership and management skills, business / fiscal accounting management, principles of risk management and health care compliance. Administrator in Training candidates must meet the minimum regulatory requirements for licensure in their state of intended residence and be able to travel and attend company training.
