Requirements:

1. A current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license or meeting the licensure requirements of this state.
2. A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related health field.
3. Effective communication skills and the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
4. Thorough knowledge of COBRA regulations, the survey process, survey tag numbers, and quality measures.
5. Knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices and procedures, and laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing center administration.
6. Strong ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound operations.
