The Licensed Nursing Assistant assists in various aspects of patient care within the prescribed skills and qualifications of this position. Responsibilities include assisting RN/LPN/other healthcare providers with examinations and treatments, preparing equipment, and providing basic care related to activities of daily living, such as bathing, skin care, movement, elimination, and nutrition.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a New Hampshire LNA license, and BLS certification (within 3 months of hire and maintained on a biannual basis). Preferred qualifications include training in 12-lead EKG, use of glucose meters, at least two years of relevant experience, and computer skills.
