A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join their team in Keene, NH. The successful candidate will assist in patient care tasks, demonstrating knowledge of various patient needs from age 16 to adulthood. Responsibilities include aiding healthcare providers in examinations and ensuring quality basic care. An ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, have relevant experience, and possess a New Hampshire LNA license along with BLS certification.
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) assists in various patient care tasks within their qualifications, demonstrating knowledge of age-specific behavior and human development from age 16 through adulthood. Responsibilities include assisting RN/LPN/healthcare providers with examinations and treatments, preparing equipment, and providing basic care related to activities of daily living such as bathing, skin care, movement, elimination, bowel and bladder training, and nutrition, as directed by the RN/LPN.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred training in 12-lead EKG and glucose meter use. A minimum of two years' experience in relevant skills is preferred. Computer experience is also preferred. A current New Hampshire LNA license and BLS certification (within 3 months of hire and maintained biannually) are required.
