Job summary

The Timbers Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Edmond, OK is seeking a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) to join a supportive, well-structured team. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and participate in care planning to maintain high-quality care.

You will document changes, communicate with families and physicians, and contribute to safer, person-centered care through accurate assessments and timely interventions. We offer competitive pay and full benefits for full-time nurses.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma LPN license or RN license.
• 1+ years in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions. Notify appropriate parties of residents’ change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of residents.
• Keep residents’ family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications or conditions of health.
• Modify residents’ care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Nurse Aide flow sheets in conjunction with residents’ changes in condition.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License OR Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care environment.
