Job summary

West Capital Lending seeks a Loan Officer to guide clients through the financing process, assess financial data, and tailor loan solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work with a team and leverage in-house processing support, access to 150+ lenders, and multiple lead sources to close loans effectively. This role emphasizes sales, service, and client advisory with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation.
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
