Job summary

Mid State Machine seeks a Licensed Journeyman Millwright to install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical systems in industrial settings. You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while traveling to client sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, active Journeyman card, and about 2 years of millwright experience; welding experience is a plus, with safety as a core priority.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an active Licensed Journeyman Card.
• 2 years verifiable Millwright experience preferred.
• Welding & fabricating experience is a plus.
• Willing to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• Must maintain safe work habits in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems and major machine centers.
• Read and understand drawings such as blueprints and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Practice safe work habits and use of hand and power tools.
• Operate shop and maintenance related equipment and perform proper alignments.
