Job summary

Thriving Center of Psychology in New York, NY seeks full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) for a hybrid schedule between our Manhattan offices and remote work. This is a W2 role with benefits, a steady caseload, and a real clinical community.

You must hold an active New York license (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT). The position requires a 40-hour week with ~27 adult clients and access to weekly case consultations within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active New York license: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
• At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to adults independently in outpatient.
• Must work 40 hours per week, with a goal of seeing 27 clients per week.
• Comfort carrying a full clinical caseload of adult clients.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Experience delivering psychotherapy in person or by telehealth.
• Must reside in NY or NJ.
• To be considered, we are unable to hire current Thriving Center clients at this time.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to adults across a range of presenting concerns, in person and by telehealth.
• Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Carry a sustainable caseload with the support of weekly case consultation.
• Maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of LCSW, LMHC, and LMFT clinicians.
