Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles is seeking LMSW or Resident Counselor therapists to provide individual, group, and play therapy through Telehealth or in-person formats. You will manage a caseload, participate in supervision, and grow within a supportive leadership team.

You’ll benefit from guaranteed pay for the first four weeks as you ramp up, professional supervision at no cost, and a flexible schedule designed to balance clinical growth with patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed mental health professional in Virginia.
• Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
