Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles seeks licensed therapists in Maryland for a flexible hybrid role combining in-person and Telehealth services. LCPC or LCSW-C certification is required, with opportunities to provide individual, group, and play therapy.

Keep your current position and start as a part-time therapist with afternoon/evening hours, then transition to full-time as your caseload grows. Credentialing within 30–45 days, competitive benefits, and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or a behavioral science from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed mental health professional in Maryland (LCPC or LCSW-C).
• Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes.
• Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.
• Other duties as needed to support clinical operations.
