Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Virginia team on a part-time, fully remote basis. The role focuses on telehealth therapy for children, teens, and young adults, with flexible hours designed for afternoon and evening availability.

You will conduct intakes, develop trauma-informed treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. A Virginia license and comfort with remote work are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license: LPC, LPC-R, LCSW, or LMSW.
• Experience working with children, teens, and families.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish clinicians are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

What This Role Looks Like

Competitive Pay + Monthly Bonus Potential

We want part-time clinicians to have the opportunity to earn competitive compensation while maintaining the flexibility they need.

Your Compensation:

• $65/billable hour — LCSW or LPC, fully licensed
• $45/billable hour — Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Counseling, with supervision provided
• Monthly bonus potential — eligible clinicians can earn additional monthly incentive compensation based on applicable clinical and performance metrics
