NaphCare, Inc. is recruiting an experienced Licensed Counselor/ Therapist to join our team at the Tutwiler Prison for Women in Wetumpka, Alabama.

The role involves providing mental health care in a correctional setting under supervision for Dependently Licensed Psychology Associates. The position requires strong assessment, treatment planning, and counseling skills, with collaboration among correctional officers and healthcare staff to protect patients’ rights, dignity, and health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field.
• Active, unrestricted AL licensure (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT etc.).
• 3+ years clinical experience in mental health care.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents with mental illnesses, SUD, and behavioral issues.
• Document and manage case files, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy and educational programs.
• Coordinate with security and healthcare staff to ensure quality care.
