Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the Kilby Correctional Facility in Mt. Meigs, AL. The role involves counseling residents in a secure setting, coordinating with correctional staff and healthcare teams to deliver mental health care.

Required are active licensure in AL (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT/LMHP, etc.), a Master's in mental health, and at least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in correctional settings. CPR certification and a clean background are needed.

Qualifications

• Master's prepared Mental Health Professional with active, unrestricted licensure in AL (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LMHP, LISW, etc.)
• Active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in mental health care, preferably in correctional healthcare

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and group therapy to residents
• Document case files, prepare reports, and participate in hearings
• Develop educational materials and provide patient education and group therapy
• Ensure compliance with site policies and ACA/NCCHC standards
