Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services seeks Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to join a clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. The organization has served 100,000+ patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states since 1995.

You will review schedules, conduct brief therapy sessions, complete assessments, and collaborate with nurses and providers to address residents’ behavioral needs. A strong focus on compliance and client outcomes is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Active LMHC license or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule and referrals, note changes in residents’ conditions.
• Meet with residents for brief therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment).
• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and concerns.
• Document sessions, treatment plans, and notes for compliance and billing.
• Coordinate with family members and plan follow-ups for the next day.

What You’ll Do

• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing residents
• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns
• Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards
• Connect with family members when needed and plan your schedule and follow-ups for the next day
