Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services in the United States is hiring Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. You will review schedules, meet residents for focused therapy, and collaborate with care teams to update treatment plans. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekend shifts, and competitive compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Active LMHC license required.
• Able to work in the United States across partnered facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule and new referrals; monitor residents’ conditions.
• Meet with residents for brief therapy sessions focusing on support, coping skills, mood, and adjustment.
• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for residents.
• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers on care needs and behavioral concerns.
• Document sessions, treatment plans, and notes to meet compliance and billing standards.
• Coordinate with families for follow-ups and next-day planning.

What You’ll Do

• Start by reviewing your schedule, checking for new referrals, and noting any changes in residents’ conditions
• Meet with residents throughout the day for brief, focused therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment)
• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing residents
• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns
• Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards
• Connect with family members when needed and plan your schedule and follow-ups for the next day
