Waterford Communities Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a Medication Aide to ensure residents receive medications only as prescribed, in line with Five Rights and professional standards. The role requires compliance, precision, and adherence to Waterford policies, with interaction in a professional, non-discriminatory manner.

The position reports to the Director of Healthcare, Administrator, and Waterford RN, and involves collaboration with Pharmacy and physicians to maintain accurate

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Nebraska licensure as a Medication aide.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure thorough and correct medication check-in with all new pharmacy orders and deliveries.
• Follow all medication orders and ensure MAR matches current orders.
• Communicate with Pharmacy, Physicians, or other healthcare providers as needed.
• Observe and report resident response to medications and care services.
• Attend meetings with Administrator, Director of Health Care, and Waterford RN.
• Assist the dietary department with beverages and meal distribution when able.
