Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge to complete job functions with interruptions.
• Self-starter with compassionate nature and aging population understanding.
• Ability to follow instructions and work calmly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct medication check-in for new orders and deliveries.
• Verify MAR matches current orders.
• Communicate with Pharmacy, Physicians, and other providers as needed.
• Maintain active Nebraska Medication Aide license.
• Observe resident responses to medications and care services.
• Observe and document incidents and falls per policy.
• Complete in-service hours required by state regulation.
• Ensure care plans are up to date and communicate revisions.
• Assist residents with mobility, toileting, dressing, and bathing as needed.
• Attend meetings with Administrator and Waterford RN.
• Assist dietary with beverages and meal distribution when able.
