Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Nebraska licensure as a Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate medication check-in with new orders and deliveries.
• Verify MAR matches current orders and follow medication orders completely.
• Communicate with Pharmacy, Physicians, or other healthcare providers as needed.
• Observe and report resident responses to medications and treatments.
• Maintain familiarity with residents, care plans, and nursing time use to follow policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings as scheduled by Administrator, Director of Health Care, and Waterford RN.
• Assist the dietary department with beverages and meal distribution when able.
