Massage Therapist

Fejjab Spa is a premier spa destination located in the City of Whittier which offers multiple spa services including facials, massage therapy, waxing and body treatments.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Massage, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy, Foot Reflexology and Hot Stone Massage tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Conduct brief consultations with clients to assess their needs and be able to provide an exceptional massage experience.

Uphold the salon's reputation for excellence by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism. Ensure that treatment rooms and equipment are sanitized and well‑maintained at all times.

Upsell services to enhance the client experience and contribute to the spa’s revenue goals.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients. Provide exceptional customer service, address client concerns professionally, and ensure client satisfaction.

Collaborate effectively with other salon professionals, such as hairstylists and nail technicians, to create a seamless and integrated salon experience for clients.

Maintain a 70% rebook rate and a 70% client retention rate. Maintain a 50% upsell/upgrade rate to massage clients to various modalities/add-ons such as Hot Stones, Aromatherapy, CBD, Scalp Massage and others.

Help with other spa necessities when there are no clients such as laundry, cleaning spa, organizing and other spa necessities. Be a good team player, contributing to other team members when needed. Leave your room clean every day with one deep clean once a week. Be willing to train in new modalities such as body wraps, post‑op Lymphatic massage, body scrubs.

Competencies

Technical Competencies: Must be trained and capable to perform western massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Massage, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy, Foot Reflexology and Hot Stone Massage.
