Job summary

StretchMed Marlborough is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our vibrant wellness team. Deliver relaxing and therapeutic massage services to diverse clients, promoting well-being and client satisfaction in a busy spa environment.

Responsibilities include performing deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage, maintaining a clean workspace per health standards, handling appointment scheduling with Millennium or MINDBODY, and upselling skincare or body treatments to enhance client

Qualifications

• Valid license as a Massage Therapist with state certification.
• Experience in med spa or salon preferred.
• Proficiency with Millennium or MINDBODY is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and customer service.
• Familiarity with nail care, eyelash extensions, hair styling, barbering, tattooing, or hair extensions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and guest-focused service.

• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations and spa standards.
• Educate clients on wellness options such as waxing, dermabrasion, or dermal fillers when appropriate, ensuring they understand their treatments.
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY to maximize client flow.
• Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, creating personalized treatment plans and upselling products or services like skincare, makeup application, or body treatments.
• Assist with front desk duties including guest check‑in/out, answering inquiries, and managing social media management to promote services and special offers.
• Conduct product demos and educate clients on retail sales opportunities to enhance their experience and support business growth.

• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, management skills, and customer service excellence are essential.
• Familiarity with additional skills such as nail care, eyelash extensions, hair styling, barbering, tattooing, or hair extensions will be considered a plus.
