Job summary

Southeast Mortgage of Georgia, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Loan Partner to support Loan Officers from application to closing, ensuring a smooth client experience by organizing files, keeping compliance, and coordinating with borrowers, processors, and business partners.

The role requires an active MLO license and 1–2 years in mortgage lending, with strong communication and attention to detail. This on-site position is based in Georgia and offers clear loan process support.

Qualifications

  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License required (Georgia license preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in mortgage lending, banking, or real estate preferred.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, disclosures, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Loan Officers with originating, processing, and closing residential mortgage loans.
  • Collect and review borrower documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate regularly with borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, and internal team members to move loans efficiently through the pipeline.
  • Order and track third-party verifications, appraisals, and title work.
  • Input and update borrower information in the loan origination system (LOS).
  • Maintain compliance with all company, state, and federal lending guidelines.
  • Prepare initial disclosures and assist in gathering conditions for underwriting approval.
  • Provide clear updates and next steps to clients throughout the loan process.
  • Support the Loan Officer with administrative and customer service tasks as needed.
