Qualifications

• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with state registrations.
• 4+ years in mortgage lending/origination, wholesale or correspondent lending preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo loan guidelines.
• Familiarity with federal/state lending regulations, TRID, HMDA.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide and educate clients throughout the mortgage application and closing process, serving as a primary point of contact and setting clear expectations regarding documentation, requirements, and timelines.
• Review initial loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission to Processing, independently managing standard loan scenarios and escalating complex guideline questions when appropriate.
• Ensure timely delivery of initial loan disclosures and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state mortgage lending regulations throughout the origination process.
• Apply strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and Conventional Conforming and Jumbo loans to effectively support clients and facilitate loan progression.
• Maintain organized and timely loan activity while collaborating with processing and other mortgage operations partners to provide a high-quality client experience in a fast-paced environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mortgage professional to support clients throughout the home loan process while leveraging innovative technology and tools to deliver an efficient and seamless lending experience. The Licensed Loan Partner will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance from initial application through loan closing. This individual will ensure loan applications, documentation, disclosures, and client communications are handled accurately and in compliance with applicable federal and state lending regulations.

Position Title: Licensed Loan Partner

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $70,000–$88,000 annually, plus equity and bonus

Requirements:

• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License with working knowledge of state licensing and registration requirements and NMLS processes.
• 4+ years of mortgage lending/origination experience, with prior experience in wholesale and/or correspondent lending channels preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo loan guidelines, mortgage products, and underwriting requirements.
• Solid understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA, with a strong commitment to compliant mortgage origination practices.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, collaborate across teams, and adapt to evolving technology and industry requirements.
