Job summary

Bay Property Management Group is seeking a Virginia Licensed Leasing Agent for a field-based role covering Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. The position is commission-only, offering $900 per signed lease and unlimited earning potential based on performance.

As a leasing agent, you will show homes, follow up with prospective renters, and guide applicants through the leasing process. The job requires active VA license and comfort working across DC and NOVA, with evenings and weekends as

• Active Virginia Real Estate License
• Comfortable working across Washington, DC and Northern Virginia
• Previous leasing, real estate, or sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Able to work evenings and weekends when needed
• Professional, reliable, and goal-oriented

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to rental inquiries by phone, email, and text
• Schedule and conduct property showings
• Market available rental homes and apartments on multiple listing platforms
• Build relationships with prospective tenants and provide exceptional customer service
• Answer questions about properties, neighborhoods, schools, and local amenities
• Guide applicants through the leasing process from application to move-in
• Coordinate lease documentation with tenants, owners, and property managers
• Complete move-in inspections and upload photos and required documentation
• Maintain accurate records and follow up with prospective renters
