Job summary

Century Mechanical Holdings seeks an experienced Lead Plumber to oversee residential and light commercial plumbing installations, service, and repair projects. This hands-on leadership role mentors a team of plumbers and apprentices while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years residential plumbing experience with leadership experience.
• Must be licensed in CT and knowledgeable about codes.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and team mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing installation, service, and repair projects.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Assign daily tasks and guide plumbers and apprentices.
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
• Perform quality control inspections against company standards.
• Communicate progress and recommendations to customers.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and job site logistics.
• Maintain safety by following OSHA and company policies.
• Assist management with scheduling, estimating, and field issue resolution.
