Job summary

Accurate Mechanical is seeking a skilled Plumbing Journeyman to install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems on diverse construction projects. You will lead and mentor apprentices, interpret blueprints, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards to deliver reliable systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, accurate documentation, and proactive problem-solving to keep projects on schedule and within budget. A strong focus on quality and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Journeyman Plumbing License or be in process, per local/state regulations.
• 3–5 years of plumbing experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems per blueprints and codes.
• Lead and supervise apprentices and helpers.
• Inspect plumbing systems for leaks and safety compliance; perform repairs as needed.
• Coordinate plumbing work with project managers and other trades.
• Maintain accurate records of work, materials used, and time spent on each project.
