Job summary

Haley Ward, Inc. is expanding its West Palm Beach team with a Land Surveyor / Project Manager who will plan, organize, and coordinate project activities within policy guidelines.

This on-site role partners with the Regional Survey Manager to deliver successful project outcomes. We seek a professional with a bachelor’s in surveying engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a Florida PSM or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering (or equivalent).
• Ten years of surveying experience.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Working knowledge of modern survey techniques and computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs others toward a professional, economical, and effective product for each project.
• Works closely with other departments to fulfill contract requirements.
• Manages a project team and multiple projects.
• Manages contract budgets and estimates to completion and communicates scope/budget changes to clients.
• Prepares project proposals including scope of work, time, and manpower.
• Mentors and supervises junior staff.
• Supports business development and cross-sell opportunities across divisions.
• Identifies new work with existing clients and projects.
• Prepares project proposals including scope and schedules.
• Encouraged to participate in community affairs.
