Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking a detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our Surveying Group.

The role involves working on boundary, ALTA, IDOT highway plats, and topographic surveys, with emphasis on communication and collaboration across projects. The candidate should be a licensed PLS with 2–5 years in Illinois, proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble tools, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with 2–5 years of experience in Illinois.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with surveying software and field workflows.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business development activities with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and review boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, IDOT plats, topographic surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions, easement exhibits, and roadway survey deliverables.
• Analyzes and supervises the analysis of legal descriptions and prepares/signs plats.
• Assist PM with project budgets, schedules and proposals.
• Manage multiple projects and client deadlines simultaneously.
• Perform boundary analysis, calculations, and plat review.
• Conduct research of deeds, plats, easements, and public records both online and at county recorder offices.
• Support field operations utilizing modern surveying technology and workflows.
