Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking a self-motivated Land Surveyor for our Gurnee, IL office. The ideal candidate will apply extensive surveying knowledge to compute geodetic measurements, prepare parcels, and support project teams on major and moderate scope assignments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Land Surveying, state licensure per location, and a minimum of 4 years of PLS experience. Travel may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Land Surveying, or minor in Land Surveying (preferred).
• Meet state licensure requirements for experience, education, and pass NCEES LS exam.
• Min 4 years of PLS experience.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data for positions, shapes, and elevations.
• Perform complex surveys and complete projects of moderate scope.
• Prepare parcel plats and legal descriptions.
