Job summary

Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) seeks a Project Manager to lead the Surveying Group on diverse projects including boundary, ALTA, IDOT plats, and topographic surveys. The role demands strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork to deliver accurate results and expert client service.

The successful candidate will oversee personnel, manage budgets, and contribute to business development while ensuring quality and timeliness across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PLS with at least 10 years of IL land surveying experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center.
• Ability to operate Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to multitask, adhere to timelines, and remain focused.
• Willingness to embrace EEI’s mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Leadership skills and team member oversight.
• Participate in business development with current and new clients.
• Develop accurate budgets and proposals.
• Direct and manage personnel assigned to the survey group.
• Track costs and upkeep project budgets.
• Managing multiple large projects at the same time.
• Plat creation, boundary calculations, and oversight.
• Research public records both online and at the recorder’s office.
