We are seeking a dynamic Licensed Electrician for an upcoming data center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience working in Data Centers.

DUTIES & SCOPE:

• Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
• Prepares work areas for equipment installation.
• Installs electrical components.
• Connects wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications.
• Operates equipment only if trained and certified, including powder-activated tools, JLG lifts, etc.
• Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.
• Reads blueprints and electrical drawings to install as specified.
• Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
• Secures and locks up equipment after use.
• State Journeyman Electrician Certification is required where applicable.
• Proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent knowledge of Building Codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work in all elements, depending on location and weather conditions.
• Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves; respirators when required.
• Work 8-10 hours daily, including overtime and night shifts as needed.
• Perform essential functions including crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, lifting objects over 50 pounds, and pushing/pulling.
• Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Physical work constitutes more than 70% of the job.
