Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Specialist I for our Fort Washington, PA office to support the Affinity Insurance Services group. The role starts in-office for six months, then transitions to hybrid work with remote days.

Minimum education is a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience, with 1–3 years in sales/service across multiple insurance products. Licenses and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate work experience.
• 1-3 years in sales/service supporting multiple insurance products and/or financial services.
• Active P&C license preferred and must obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to respond to customer inquiries via multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls via 800 lines with multi-product portfolio (Life, Health, Property & Casualty).
• Respond to customer communications via email and written correspondence.
• Maintain service, quality and timeliness standards.
• Interact with other departments on projects including programs, products and technology.
• Support knowledge management transfer within the department through training, quality and intranet projects.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and propose additional insurance products based on personal and business needs.
• Maintain customer records by updating account or policy information.
• Provide analysis and reports for accurate business results for the carrier.
• Reconcile client payments against the policy administration system.
